Careers: Customer Communication Project Manager
Avitage is seeking a project manager to oversee both our internal and client multimedia communications projects. In this role, you will be responsible for working directly with project stakeholders and ensuring that projects are completed, starting with establishing requirements through actual delivery. Proactive leadership, collaboration and communications are required for establishing the trust of both the customer and team members to effectively execute against multiple ongoing project plans.
You will be responsible for the effective and efficient delivery of our professional services utilizing a defined process as established with each customer engagement. You will be required to develop a keen understanding of our proprietary communications technologies and our unique methods of support. Attention to detail is extremely important. You will operate independently with only high-level direction.
Knowledge and Skills
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Proven ability to meet aggressive deadlines and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies and adapt methods and processes with regard to specific customer needs
- High skill level with interpersonal communications including diplomacy in coordinating/leading project efforts
- Understanding of multimedia production, tools and methods
- High level of initiative and sound, independent judgment
- BA in Communications, Business
- Minimum of five years of relevant business experience
