Our Customers Have Provided Critical Insights to Our Services

Our Customers Tell Us that Our Methods and Approach Help Them Achieve Better Results from Their Electronic-Communications Initiatives

We help them avoid the many pitfalls that often occur when implementing new technology by providing a process and techniques that have been honed through 15 years of working with multimedia content and electronic delivery.

Below are short stories about how our customers use and benefit from our services. Due to the proprietary nature of our work with clients, how our services directly impact sales and marketing results and, most importantly, to protect their privacy, no specifics are given.

Back to TopA young, venture-backed technology company with $5 million in revenues and 10 marketing and sales people needed a simple, low-cost way to provide sales performance support. By far, their most used content was PowerPoint® for internal training and customer communications. They needed training tools, document management and webinar support.

Impact on Customer
Our systems and services supported explosive sales results, as their people focused on their primary tasks with fewer interruptions and efficient access to, and use of, knowledge and content.

Back to TopA large technology company with more than 1,000 presales engineers (SEs)
(in a 1:5 ratio with the sales organization they supported) needed to improve SE productivity and efficiency. They wanted better ways to leverage their people, share knowledge, reduce learning time and provide faster and easier access to the content SEs needed.

Avitage Services
Avitage Multimedia Management Application seamlessly integrated into their internal marketing and sales portal, as well as certain websites. Program management services helped them create and execute new operational processes. Production services provided high-volume, low-cost, rapid-turnaround audio acquisition, editing and posting to the Avitage library (including foreign-language narrations).

Impact on Customer
For the first time, the customer has a central repository of all corporate PowerPoint slides from ALL divisions, product and solution groups, and geographies. Despite a significant organization downsizing, the company grew revenues in this part of the business and made it easier for SEs to accomplish their objectives.

Back to TopA company with 50 marketing and sales people started growing rapidly and acquiring companies. All content was deployed through Salesforce.com®, but not managed well. The company wanted to get everyone “on message,” but also simplify access and use of sanctioned PowerPoint as their primary vehicle of conveying messages both internally and to customers.

Avitage Services
Avitage Multimedia Management Application linked into Salesforce.com, as well as sections of websites.

Impact on Customer
Content is organized in more useful ways and is easy to maintain. Sales accesses content through Salesforce.com, either to instantly “pull” the decks they need or dynamically assemble a custom show online before downloading for customer delivery.

Back to TopA large computer-products distributor wanted to provide support to source vendor to make it easier for them to communicate new product information to the VAR community.

Impact on Customer
For more than eight years, they have received reliable, convenient webinar program execution for their customers.

Back to TopSeveral customers experiencing lead-generation difficulties wanted better ways to support the tele-prospecting resources associated with this activity (some internal, some outsourced).

Avitage Services
Avitage Second Voice Vignette (SM) Program – Attention Getters. These short multimedia vignettes are produced to address specific audience needs and situations. Configurable modules enable last-minute configuration to tailor programs based upon stakeholder roles, current methods, industry or competitive context.

Impact on Customers
Customer realized significant improvement in volume, quality and responsiveness of lead engagements.

Back to TopA company wanted help conducting lead-generation webinars to prospective customers, but didn’t want the premium services of a specialty firm. They wanted assistance with the operational and production work to minimize impact on their internal staff.

Avitage Services
Avitage webinar services, production services and Avitage Multimedia Management Application. Production services allowed presenters to pre-produce webinar programs, which are played “live” into webinars. Program content was modularized and managed in the Avitage platform.

Impact on Customer
Customer went from one webinar per quarter to two per month, funded by cost and time savings, as well as simplicity of the approach. This resulted in more audience-targeted programs and a significant increase in prospect inquiries. Internally, the approach reduced the anxiety and hassle previously associated with running webinars, despite increasing frequency six-fold. The company is now investigating shorter on-demand programs by reusing original content.

Back to TopA top technology company with more than 15,000 marketing, sales and management users of PowerPoint, across many divisions and geographies, needed to get PowerPoint under control. An initial assessment revealed PowerPoint represented less than 7% of all documents being managed, but accounted for 65% of all hits to their marketing and sales portal.

Avitage Services
Avitage Multimedia Management Application: more than 50,000 slides (in multiple languages) are managed as a database of individual slides, organized into intuitive groupings and message units.

Impact on Customer
The system was up and running within 60 days. It seamlessly integrates with existing portals, websites, even their learning management system (LMS). The system was quickly and easily adopted by users worldwide. Content managers are saving time, while they improve the process of keeping slides and slide groups up to date. After the first year, the customer added audio, Flash® and video to the system.
